August 16   New pot!

Today’s excitement came in the mail! A month ago now I decided to cash in a bunch of my credit card points (which are not frequent flyer points) in for two Le Chasseur pots. And today they arrived. And tonight we made curry (yes from the bottle in the back of the photo, we’re not that fancy on a school night)

    Oh come on. I made a curry tonight, only took me 15 minutes :)

    Made curry tonight as well. On the bbq since we had no power. Planned to do rice in a separate pot but the wrong rice was in the water before we realised it was aborio. Solution was to put it in the curry and ended up with vegetarian rogan josh risotto. Very nice.
